Mesa Skate Supply is the online store for Mesa Distribution, a union of skateboard brands headlined by ACE Trucks, Umaverse and Pepper Griptape. Mesa brands are founded by skaters with the intent of offering top tier products matched with impeccable customer support. We’re based in Los Alamitos, CA along with a second location in Barcelona, Spain. Mesa aims to push the limits of product technology, while nurturing a community of like-minded creatives and skateboarders.
ACE Trucks was founded by Joey Tershay & Steve “Shrewgy” Ruge in 2007. With a wealth of knowledge between the two, their mutual goal was set to create the best performing trucks skateboarding has ever seen. This proved to be simple by definition, and a bit more difficult in execution. ACE persevered through challenging formative years, slowly building an impressive team roster that grew along with brand popularity over the years.In 2017 Joey Pulsifer was welcomed as the third partner in ACE, coming onboard with innovative concepts to improve the trucks strength and functionality. In April 2021 ACE released the AF1, the strongest cast truck on earth. This would prove to be a pivotal point in the brands evolution, solidifying its place as one of the most demanded trucks in the world.
Amidst the height of the pandemic in 2020, one of the wildest rides most of us have taken in our lives, Umaverse was created. Evan Smith brought his spontaneous, creative energy to Mesa Distribution where the brand was born and nurtured. Exuding this same feral energy are pro’s Maité, Cody Chapman & Roman Pabich. Thomas Campbell took reigns on art direction and curated the initial offering, enlisting the art of Nathaniel Russell whom has become the epicentre of the Uma artist universe. The beloved and talented Andy Jenkins now guides the creative efforts while Evan continues to lead the expanding team on a global jaunt, spreading the Uma vibes of inclusivity and positivity, welcoming all to join in along the way.
